So you don’t have to stress about finding the par-fect present this holiday season!
Without a doubt, the best part of the Christmas season is the giving…and let’s be honest — checking off those wish lists is is much less stressful when you know what to get. After all, you want the person on the receiving end to enjoy the gift, right?
Sometimes that’s easier said than done, so we’re here to help you out…as long as you’re shopping for a golfer of course!
Wondering what to get the golfer in your life for Christmas this year?
We have a few ideas for you — no matter your budget. 💪
Gifts for golfers that are $50 or less
Tees. OK. Tees might sound a little boring, but what could possibly be more exciting and practical for a golfer than getting a pack of 50 fresh new tees? If you’re looking for a low-cost stocking stuffer or add-on to another gift, look no further!
👉 We carry tees in the Kingswell Glen Pro Shop!
Groove Cleaning Brush. What could be better than the gift of clean grooves? Nothing. One reason golfers lose spin on their wedge shots is dirty grooves, and a good brush will take that problem away. The Frogger brush is a really good choice if you’re going to buy one of these.
Alignment Sticks. If the golfer in your life actually likes practice, a set of alignment sticks can be a big help! These simple training aids can help with proper setup, swing path, and more!
Kingswell Glen Apparel. What could be better than giving the gift of style? Maybe a Kingswell Glen hat (or two) is just what your gift buddy needs to up their game and look extra classy.
Gifts for golfers in the $50 to $150 price range
Putting Mat. Drive for show and putt for dough, right? What better way to make sure your gift buddy is sinking putts than helping them practice all winter? We’ve heard good things about the PuttOut Pro mat, but there are many others out there of varying sizes and quality. You don’t want to go too cheap with these, or you may end up with a small-sized mat that bunches up, simulates a slow green speed, and goes unused.
Dormie Workshop Headcover. OK, Dormie Workshop is based in Nova Scotia and they hand craft all kinds of cool leather golf accessories. They have a collection of headcovers that has something for everyone. And if they don’t have one you like, they’ll make it for you. Check out Dormie Workshop.
👉 We don’t carry this specific brand at our Pro Shop, but we do carry our own Kingswell branded headcovers!
Orange Whip. This isn’t as painful as it might sound. The Orange Whip swing aid is rated as one of the best training aids to help with tempo and build a stronger, faster swing. Plus, it’s great for warming up before a round. It comes in all sorts of sizes so make sure you get the right one.
Golf balls! These are practical, but also give you an opportunity to make fun of your gift buddy for how quickly they’ll lose all of them – a true win/win! In that way, golf balls are the gift that keep on giving. If you want to know the balls are good quality, consider looking at balls that are at least $50 per dozen.
👉 We carry 3-packs of golf balls at the Kingswell Glen Pro Shop!
The Gift of Golf. This is a no brainer. If your gift buddy is a golfer, give them more golf! We’d be happy to help you get a gift certificate for a couple rounds with a cart for the 2021 season. Just reach out to us and we’ll get something lined up.
Gifts for golfers that cost more than $150
Golf Lessons. One of the best ways to get rid of a slice is to get a lesson. But nobody ever spends the money on that. So, do it for them! We don’t mean you should give them the lesson yourself. A 3 or 5 lesson pack with a CPGA pro can diagnose your gift buddy’s swing and help them fix it. You’ll change their game…and their life!
GPS or Rangefinder. We all have that friend who never gets their yardage right. Take the guesswork (and their excuses) away by giving them a golf GPS or rangefinder. Just note that some GPSs come with annual subscriptions (so you might want to avoid those ones).
Membership. The ultimate golf gift! Golf. All. Summer. Long. Wow. This will be the gift that gets talked about for years. Kingswell has some great options for individuals, couples, and families which will provide a full summer’s worth of fun and memories.
The only problem with this gift…how do you top it next year?
Winter is a tough time to be a golfer, but hopefully some of the ideas above will keep the excitement for the 2021 season alive, and help the offseason go by a little faster.
We can’t wait to see you again for golf next spring (and hopefully sooner at some of our ongoing events)!
